Melissa Sheer
Melissa has close to 20 years of experience in the financial services, communications, and public relations industries. She is President and Founder of Kent Place Communications, LLC (KPC), a full-service corporate communications and public relations firm headquartered in New York City. As part of this, Melissa frequently strategizes with clients the best way to build or enhance their print, broadcast, and online media footprints, having built a national network of over 1,000 print reporters and 200 broadcast TV producers.
Previously a Managing Director of Kekst and Company (now Kekst CNC) and Director of Investor Relations at Citigroup, Melissa has extensive experience working with senior executives to formulate communication and marketing programs that are aligned with business milestones. Melissa holds a B.A. Degree in political science from Barnard College/Columbia University and an MBA in finance and economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
